Staff in Honor of National Nurses Week
Creighton University Medical
Center recognized nursing
staff during National Nurses Week with activities throughout the week including
blessing of the hands, massages and dessert. National Nurses Week celebrates
our nurses who provide patient care each and every day.
Rose
Tselentis, was honored as Nurse of the Year during the annual Nurses Week
celebration at Creighton
University Medical
Center. Her nominator
said, "Rose is a mentor, teacher and all around resource person for PACU. Rose
has mentored numerous nursing students and medical students during her tenure
at CUMC."
Tselentis
has been a nurse for over 40 years. She currently serves as PACU/Recovery Unit
Based Council chair, is a member of the Evidence Based Council for the
hospital-shared governance, and is active in the Nebraska Association of Post
Anesthesia Nurses and The American Society for Post Anesthesia Nurses.
